King-Bruwaert House receives Community Choice Award
Independent living residents report outstanding program engagement
King-Bruwaert House (KBH) in Burr Ridge has been recognized with the prestigious Choice Community Award from Holleran Consulting of Wrightsville, PA. KBH received the honor by earning outstanding independent living resident engagement scores after recently completing its 2024 Resident Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. The high scores place KBH at the top of an exclusive Holleran benchmark among more than 300 senior living organizations across 36 states, DC, and Canada that have completed surveys within the past three years.
“For KBH to receive this Choice Community Awards distinction means we rank as a highly engaged senior living community for independent residents throughout the country,” said KBH CEO Shawn O’Connor. “Our dedicated staff takes so much time and effort in planning a full spectrum of activities and programs that meet the needs and interests of our residents. We take great pride in ensuring that our engagement strategies support and connect with our residents in every way possible.”
Surveys directed to independent living residents closed late April, 2024 and 70% of those residents responded to the survey.
