How to Control Curls in Heat and Humidity
With one of the hottest summers we've seen in years, Ross Bartolomei, owner of Salon Hype in Burr Ridge, is giving us tips on how to survive summer in style.
Style Tip: Embrace your curls! You may not know it, but all the women walking around with straight, flat hair are really jealous of your curls. Keeping curl definition is key. One of the ways to do this is to refresh your curls with a product that I love called Shu Uemura Depsea Foundation Spray. Divide your hair into 10 sections, then spray and twist each section and let them dry. The effect is a tamed ringlet that gives you more control and a calmer curl that stands up to humidity.
