The survey is used to assess rates of satisfaction of the senior living community’s residents relating to successful and meaningful engagement opportunities. The criteria for selection by Holleran for the award is two-fold. The top requirement is a high score for the survey factors. Additionally, the results must be accompanied by a high survey response rate. King-Bruwaert House’s high engagement scores showed great satisfaction on the part of the residents, along with a significant rate of participation in the survey.

The residents’ feedback was overwhelmingly positive regarding King-Bruwaert House’s success in areas including supporting and encouraging residents, providing a welcoming environment, helping to set and achieve health and wellness goals, enabling residents to be as social and active, promoting opportunities to pursue meaning in their lives, and more.
