Duke Realty Acquires Burr Ridge Medical Center Building

The building is currently leased to the Loyola University Health System.

Duke Realty has purchased the building that houses the Loyola Center for Health in Burr Ridge, according to the Illinois Real Estate Journal. The approximately 100,000-square-foot facility , bringing one of the largest comprehensive medical practices Loyola has off its main campus in Maywood to .

Last August, Loyola added primary care and pediatrics to its list of services at the Burr Ridge location, . The move brought specialists in the fields of adolescent medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, pediatric urology and psychiatry to the building.

According to Dan Post, director of ambulatory services at the Loyola Center for Health in Burr Ridge, from a functionality standpoint, the tenant relationship will be no different than that which it had with its previous leasing company, Sterling Bay.

"We are happy tenants and we love being a part of the neighborhood," Post told Patch.  Our practices are growing and we now lease the entire building, including the third floor. The facility now holds 108 docs, 125 staff and offers 58 specialties."
