Residents Report Windows Shot Out by BB Guns

The following information was provided by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

On Dec. 27, received a report that a resident's windows had been broken out by pellets from a BB gun. It happened on Greenbriar Court at around 3:30 p.m. At 9:18 p.m. on Dec. 27, a resident on Briarwood Lane reported windows being broken out by pellets from a BB gun. Police have no suspects for either incident at this time.

Coat Stolen at Gym

At approximately 11:42 a.m. on Dec. 29, a black leather coat was stolen from a locker room at Lifetime Fitness.

Furniture Stolen

Police are continuing to investigate a report that furniture was taken from a home under construction on Oak Hill Court. The matter was reported to police on Dec. 24 at 11:23 a.m.

Stolen Cameras Discovered During Traffic Stop

At 2:35 p.m. on Dec. 31, police stopped a car near the intersection of North Frontage Road and Carriage Way for an equipment violation. During the stop, an officer discovered cameras that had been reported stolen. The driver was detained and released without charges pending further investigation.
