Sprinkling Restrictions Go Into Effect Today, High of 83 Expected

3. sprinkling restrictions go into effect today. Starting today, sprinkling north of 83rd Street is only allowed on Monday, Thursday and Saturday from midnight to noon and 6 p.m. to midnight. Sprinkling south of 83rd Street is allowed Tuesday, Friday and Sunday during the same hours. Sprinkling is not allowed at all on Wednesdays or on any other day between noon and 6 p.m.

4. It'll be sunny today, with a high near 83, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts could get as high as 20 mph. Tonight scattered showers and thunderstorms (possibly severe) are expected, mainly before 11 p.m. It'll be partly cloudy, with a low around 50.
