Straub Weekly Address: Flooding, Marketing Subcommittee, 9/11
The mayor's weekly address is available on YouTube, and he says the Stanley Cup may be coming to Burr Ridge again!

Burr Ridge Mayor Mickey Straub's weekly address can be viewed above.
This week, Mayor Straub said that his "biggest ah-hah moment" came during office hours, when a resident showed him photographs of April's flooding in the southwest of the village.
"Some of those backyards look like a lake," Straub says in the address. "It's no wonder why the residents want to ensure that any new construction won't affect the water issues... This is certainly something that I hope the village can help to remedy or minimize regardless of any new development.
The mayor also discusses:
- An interior security fence at Villa Taj
- A proposed new marketing subcommittee
- A new magazine for DuPage County
- His trip to Ground Zero and the 9/11 memorial.
- The potential of a Stanley Cup return to Burr Ridge.
