Two Break-ins Reported at Burr Ridge Storage Facility

Burr Ridge police are investigating thefts from two units at Public Storage, 16W341 S. Frontage Rd.

Winter tires and wheels were reported stolen at 10:36 a.m. June 7 from a storage locker. The estimated value of the stolen items is $2,000. 

Another theft was reported at 11:46 a.m. June 9. In this case, records, speakers, tapes and a turntable are missing. Value is unknown.

Police said both storage units were locked when the break-ins occurred, and they do not know at this time if the two incidents are related.
