What Would You Like to See Where the Villa Taj is Now?

The Villa Taj near the intersection of County Line and Plainfield Roads has been empty for years. Many Burr Ridge residents have speculated what might happen to the building. The building and needs extensive repairs.

We thought we'd start our "Visions for Vacancies" column—where we take a look at empty buildings around the community to see what residents would like to see in those vacancies—with this private home that's become a well-known structure.

At meetings, we've heard ideas like turning it into a library. We've heard other people say it would be nice to have an ice cream shop in town.

So we wanted to get your opinion: What would you like to see in the empty Villa Taj building or where the building is now?
