• Zoning Board Shades Solar Farm, Data Center Idea (25newsnow.com) — A proposed solar farm and data center on West Hickory Street in Canton has hit a major hurdle after Fulton County’s zoning board unanimously recommended denying the needed zoning change. Following a five-hour, heavily attended meeting in Lewistown, residents raised concerns about industrializing rural land, while developers argued the small-footprint project would feed five megawatts of power back into Ameren’s grid for about 30 years.
