• Carlinville Coach To Be Inducted Into The IBCA (stauntonstartimes.com) — Carlinville residents can celebrate longtime girls’ basketball coach and athletic director Darrin Deneve, who will be inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame this spring. Now in his 20th season, Deneve has led Carlinville High School’s Cavaliers to hundreds of wins, multiple county and regional titles, and two South Central Conference championships.
