Champaign releases agenda for December 16 city council meeting (chambanasun.com) — Champaign residents can now review the full agenda for the City Council meeting set for Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at 102 N. Neil Street. The evening will include both the regular meeting and a post-council study session, and the public is encouraged to attend and participate.

Champaign County building permits, Dec. 12-18, 2025 (news-gazette.com) — New building permits in Champaign this week include a major restaurant remodel on South Neil Street, a new storage building on South Mattis, and several commercial facelifts and residential upgrades. Volunteers say the 65-year tradition offers stress relief, community, and inclusive celebrations of many winter holidays while keeping a beloved campus tradition thriving.
