Bridge Over I-80 Reopens After Being Struck By Truck, But Repairs Are Yet To Be Done: IDOT
A week after the main road into Minooka closed due to a truck hitting the bridge, it has reopened.

MINOOKA, IL — A week after it was struck by a truck, the bridge carrying Wabena Road over Interstate 80 in Minooka has reopened, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday. The bridge is just east of the Minooka interchange at exit 122.
"IDOT has conducted a structural assessment and concluded that the bridge possesses sufficient structural capacity to continue operating," IDOT said in a news release. "Repairs will be done to this structure in the future."
