Burglary At Subway In Channahon: 2 Arrest Warrants Issued

CHANNAHON, IL — Two men who come from Calumet City and Riverdale now have Will County warrants out for their arrest from the Channahon Police Department in connection with a felony crime that happened back in September at the Subway restaurant on Route 6.

Co-defendants Terrance Moore and Robert Turnbo are being charged with burglary and theft in connection with the Channahon crime from Sept. 17. Moore and Turnbo are accused of entering the Channahon Subway at 25439 West Eames Street and with the intent of committing a theft.

The complaint states that Moore and Turnbo gained control of cash belonging to Channahon Subway owner, Narendrakumar Patel, "and the value of the property exceeded $500 but did not exceed $10,000."

Will County Judge Ken Zelazo issued the arrest warrants last week for both men, setting bail at $100,000 for Moore, who lives on West 146th Street in Riverdale, and $75,000 for Turnbo, who lives in Saginaw Avenue in Calumet City.

Turnbo is 37 years old while his accomplice, Moore, is 26 years old, the bench warrant states.

The Will County Warrants website did not have any mugshots available for Moore and Turnbo, and there was no information about their warrants posted on the website as of Jan. 8.
