CHANNAHON, IL — Police continue to search for a missing 24-year-old Channahon man who police said was last seen in Chicago earlier this week after his family said he left his car abandoned and needs help.
Luke Klein was last seen in the 1500 block of West Division Avenue on Monday. Klein is described as being 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. He has a beard and wears glasses. He also has a tattoo of a cross on his chest, police said in an alert.

He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt, dark shorts and may be wearing tan topsider shoes, police said. Chicago Police said Klein may have recently been in the River North area of the city.
In a social media post, Klein’s mother said that her son does not have a phone and is “great person with a loving heart who have people who love him very much and needs help.”
Chicago Police told Patch on Friday that there is no additional information to report as of now.
His mother said in a post Tuesday that she had found his car where police said it was located, but that there is still no word on Klein’s whereabouts. In the post, she thanked volunteers who had been looking for Klein and who have shared social media messages announcing him being missing.
“We were helped by people in the city and were met with caring people,” Klein’s mother wrote. “It let me know there are still really good people in this world!”
