Channahon Officials Ask Residents to Help Improve DuPage River Water
"Unfortunately, the health of the DuPage River faces challenges from a variety of threats," Channahon officials said this week.

The quality of life for residents living in communities along the DuPage River is reliant upon the quality of water.
"Unfortunately, the health of the DuPage River faces challenges from a variety of threats," Channahon officials said, in an Aug. 15 community update. "But there are actions we can take that will help us care for our land and water around the DuPage River, where you live."
Channahon is part of a cluster of municipalities and townships working to keep local water clean and landscapes healthy. The Lower DuPage Watershed Coalition is conducting a water quality survey in several communities near the DuPage River. Its results will help coalition members understand water quality issues facing residents, as well as to identify direct resources for prioritizing, and then addressing the most pressing problems.
