Injuries Reported In Semi Rollover On I-80: ISP

MINOOKA, IL — Illinois state troopers were handling a semi rollover crash with injuries on I-80 near Ridge Road just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

According to state police, a truck-tractor semi-trailer was in the eastbound lanes when it drove off the road, through the median, and rolled over.

State police said injuries were reported in the crash. A source told Patch that as of 6:45 p.m., paramedics were still trying to extricate the driver.

All I-80 westbound lanes and the left lane of I-80 eastbound are shut down. Extended lane closures are expected.
