Knife to a Gunfight: Cops Say Joliet Man Armed with Steak Knife Got Killed After Rushing Gunman
The slaying appears to have been justifiable, police said.

A Joliet man was killed when he brandished a steak knife and rushed at a gunman, police said.
Shador Jenkins, 28, was pronounced dead Friday night at the Presence St. Joseph Medical Center emergency room.
A Friday evening altercation between two young women near the corner of Wallace and Center Streets escalated and led to Jenkins and another man arguing with three men in a Silver Pontiac Bonneville, police said. Jenkins then allegedly produced a steak knife and ran at the vehicle with his 23-year-old pal reportedly joining him in the attack.
