Lawsuit Alleges Sexual Abuse Of 2 Boys By Underage Neighbor

The children lived across the street from each other in Wilmington, according to court records.

A lawsuit filed in Will County court accused a child of molesting two boys in his home over the course of a year.

Jeffrey Adolphino and Maria Rios, the parents of two minor boys, sued Dorothy Bogan and William Naughton. The lawsuit said Bogan and Naughton are the parents of a boy who molested their sons for about a year in 2012 and 2013.

The allegedly molested boys are identified only as “John Doe #1” and “John Doe #2.” Naughton and Bogan’s son is identified as “John Doe #3.”

Naughton and Bogan’s son “cared for and/or visited with John Doe #1 and John Doe #2 in the residence of (Naughton and Bogan),” the lawsuit said.

While the boys were there, Naughton and Bogan’s son undressed them, “exposing their genitals,” the lawsuit said. He also allegedly touched their genitals, encouraged them to touch his genitals, performed oral sex on the boys, had them perform oral sex on him, and committed “acts of sodomy upon” the two children, as well as “many other lewd acts,” the suit said.

The attorney for Adolphino and Rios, Kathleen Zellner, failed to return calls for comment.

According to court records, Naughton and Bogan lived across the street from a Maria Rios and Jeffrey Adolfino on No Wake Avenue in Wilmington. Zellner, who twice referred to Rios as “Maria Ramos” in the lawsuit, did not respond when asked whether she spelled Adolphino’s name incorrectly.

Court records also show that Naughton and Bogan have two sons who would now be 14 and 15.
