Mail from Tornado-ravaged Washington Found in Channahon

Mail carried during the weekend storms that caused destruction across Illinois traveled miles from a tornado-ravaged community to Channahon, according to reports.

A Channahon man found mail address to Washington, IL, residents on his property, which is about 80 miles northwest of the town, according to a Quad-City Times report.

Portions of Washington were destroyed during the storms on Sunday.
