Meet A Future Leader In Minooka: Kevin Bisbee

Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people achieving great things in our community.

MINOOKA — The future of Minooka is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Kevin Bisbee, who are making a positive impact in and around the Minooka and Channahon area.

Kevin, a senior at Minooka Community High School in District 111, has been honored with the March award for the 2025 Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club March Student of the Month. According to Minooka school district, Kevin was nominated by Mr. Matt Williams. Each month, the Rotary Club honors one senior student with exemplary leadership and service mindedness.

According to the Rotary Club press release announcement, Kevin maintains a 4.13 GPA, is a National Honor Society member and a multi-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, and baseball. Outside of school, he plays travel baseball and volunteers as a youth coach, umpire, and at local organizations.

WCSJ news radio station in Morris reported that Kevin's dedication to academics, athletics, and community service earned recognition from school officials and that Kevin plans to attend Iowa State University to study mechanical engineering. He hopes to build a strong career in the manufacturing industry and remains committed to giving back to his community.
