What does this person teach?

All 5th grade courses

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She has the mentality of teaching the whole child, recognizing when the emotional or mental state needs more attention than the child who did not do their homework, etc. As a parent, I asked her what I could do to assist my child at home. To that, she responded along the lines of, I’m the teacher I will manage helping her catch up during school hours and you just worry about being mom. I felt so much relief and understood fully for the first time. Many more stories of that school year but she made it the best!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is the epitome of what a teacher should be. I only wish she could teach my child for the rest of her school career.
