Semi Crash At I-55, Arsenal Road Ends Life Of Joliet Man, 38
The Joliet man died on Monday morning, according to Will County Coroner Laurie Summers.

CHANNAHON — A Joliet man was killed Monday morning after a crash at Interstate 55 and Arsenal Road near Channahon Township. Will County Coroner Laurie Summers said he was identified as James Donisch, 38.
Summers said Donisch was rushed to St. Joe's hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:19 a.m. The Illinois State Police are now investigating the incident.
Illinois State Police Trooper Josh Robinson, who serves as a public information officer, told Joliet Patch that the crash involving Donisch's vehicle and a commercial vehicle happened at 6:45 a.m. at the ramp to Arsenal Road from northbound Interstate 55.

Donisch, the sole occupant, was driving a Subaru when he lost control, left the roadway, and entered oncoming traffic, striking a truck-tractor semi-trailer combination vehicle traveling on the ramp to I-55 southbound from Arsenal Road.
The driver of the semi, a 36-year-old Romeoville man, reported no injuries on the scene.
