Joliet Hooters Donates To Neighbors This Holiday Season: 'They Were All So Happy To Receive Their Gifts'

JOLIET, IL — Hooters of Joliet partnered with a neighboring nursing home, Renwick Nursing and Rehab, 3401 Hennepin Drive in Joliet, to spread some holiday cheer for their residents. Joliet Hooters General Manager Nicole Sancen spearheaded the restaurant’s involvement to help the seniors for Christmas. The restaurant held an internal Angel Tree initiative that provided Christmas gifts for 30 residents. Nicole, along with several employees who work at the restaurant personally delivered the gifts and lunch to the residents on December 22.

Joliet Hooters Girls who participated in the visit to Renwick Nursing and Rehab include NaCari Benson, Victoria Karmas, Angelina Tijan and Olivia Kozak. Holiday gifts provided included blankets, shoes, crossword puzzles, pajamas, clothing, beauty essentials, puzzles, non-slip slippers, socks, craft supplies, snacks and cookies.

“We think of our community as a family from our customers to employees. They were all so happy to receive their gifts and food for their Christmas party,” said Hooters of Joliet General Manager Nicole Sancen. Hooters of Joliet is located at 3301 Hennepin Drive in Joliet.
