Two Minooka Homes Uninhabitable After Fire
The fire Tuesday night on Aux Sable Drive damaged two homes.
No one was injured in a fire Tuesday night that began in the kitchen of an end unit on Aux Sable Drive in Minooka. Minooka Fire Protection District Chief Al Yancey said the call came in at 10:20 p.m.
"Crews saw smoke showing on arrival," he said. "They made entry and found fire towards the back of the unit, toward the kitchen."
No cause, estimate for damage or further information was available Tuesday night.

There was fire and water damage to the end unit and smoke damage to the neighboring unit. Both were uninhabitable.
Channahon Fire Protection District and Troy Fire Protection District also responded to the call.
