Vet From Channahon Will Be Laid To Rest At Arlington Cemetery

CHANNAHON, IL — A United States Army veteran from Channahon will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, his obituary from the Maher Funeral Home in Tinley Park says. Tom Michael Dublin, born on the Fourth of July in 1946, died at his home on March 28. He had family by his side.

All services for Dublin, who was a former resident of Palos Hills and the Brighton Park and Douglas Park neighborhoods in Chicago, will be private and be held on the same day due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The funeral home did not have the date of when this is to occur when contacted.

"He will be laid to rest along with the brave men and woman who gave their lives for our great nation at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia," the funeral home stated in his obituary.

Dublin was married to Helen (nee Waitkus) for more than 50 years. He was a father of one and grandfather of one.
