Wilmington's Mystery: Where Is Jennifer Tannhauser?
Wilmington police just issued a missing persons bulletin for 41-year-old Jennifer Tannhauser. Nobody has seen her for an entire week.

WILMINGTON — Efforts to find Jennifer Tannhauser, a 41-year-old Wilmington woman who vanished without a trace on July 10, have proven to be unsuccessful, the Wilmington Police Department announced Tuesday afternoon in a Facebook post.
According to Wilmington PD, at 4:45 p.m. July 10, officers in the small city south of Joliet received a report that Tannhauser was missing from Fulton Street; she was experiencing a mental health crisis, causing concern for her safety.
Wilmington police said they have searched the area over the past week and had no success in finding the 41-year-old woman. However, her car was found less than 24 hours later, in nearby Kankakee County. It was parked at a conservation area off Warner Bridge Road.

Tannhauser has brown hair and hazel eyes and the large tattoo on her back. She stands 5-foot-4 and weighs 250 pounds.
She did not have a cell phone or wallet with her at the time of her disappearance, police pointed out.
Wilmington Police also urged volunteer searchers to stay away from the abandoned women's prison off Route 102, which is where some searchers invited people to join them in looking for her.
"We ask that no one enter this area without the escort of law enforcement due to extensive safety issues with the remaining structures and general landscape of the area," the agency stressed.
