• Green Hills Public Library's Giving Tree grows hope (southwestregionalpublishing.com) — Residents served by Green Hills Public Library, including Chicago Ridge neighbors, are being asked to donate new winter clothing and small gift cards to the library’s Giving Tree campaign supporting people facing homelessness. Donations, collected with BEDS Plus through Jan. 4 in Palos Hills, help meet urgent local needs while allowing donors to add ornaments to the tree in the lobby.
