15 Shot, 2 Dead At Party On Chicago's South Side
Chicago police said more than a dozen people were shot early Sunday morning at a party in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
CHICAGO — Two people were killed and at least a dozen more were shot during a party held at a home on the city's South Side early Sunday morning, Chicago police have confirmed.
During a Sunday morning press conference, Chicago Police Department Superintendent David Brown amended the number of victims from 12 to 15, adding that police have not interviewed many of the victims as they are still in surgery.
Brown said no one was in custody in connection to the shooting and there are currently no suspects; however, investigators are following up on leads.

Police said a "disturbance" occurred among several people at the party in the 6700 block of South Chicago Avenue around 4:41 a.m. Gunfire erupted, and 15 people were shot, according to police. All victims were between 20 and 44 years old.
As of Sunday morning, the names of the two people killed had not been released.

Brown said the shooting happened at a building housing a towing company/auto repair business. He said there is a bar inside the building, which was previously a lounge.
Brown said he did not know what kind of party or celebration was being held there.
Many of the other victims hospitalized were in good condition, police said.
One person who was shot has refused treatment, according to an ABC-7 report.
