Two Chicago police officers are recuperating in the hospital after a van tries to speed away from a traffic stop on the Northwest Side in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood. Four vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened around 1:10 a.m. Sunday. The driver in the van was also hospitalized.
