2 Killed, 2 Injured In Crash On Lake Shore Drive: Chicago Police

The deceased were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

CHICAGO — Two people were killed and another two were injured in an overnight crash on Lake Shore Drive, according to Chicago police.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of South Lake Shore Drive, police said, where a southbound Kia sedan collided with a Chevrolet sedan. The two occupants of the Chevrolet were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The Kia's driver and passenger were both taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition, police said, noting both occupants of the Kia were men and the driver was 33. The crash is under investigation, according to police.
