2 Men Found Dead In South Side Street With No Apparent Trauma: Chicago Police

The men, who were lying unresponsive in the street, were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

CHICAGO — Two men were found dead overnight on a street on the far South Side of Chicago, according to police.

Officers responded to a medical call around 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the 11700 block of South Marshfield Avenue, where they found the men lying unresponsive in the street, police said. There was no apparent trauma to the bodies, but both were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

One of the men was 30, and the second had not been identified as of early Sunday morning, police said. The area where they were found is a commercial stretch between Interstate 57 and a Metra train yard in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
