2 Million-Dollar Powerball Tickets Sold in Illinois
Both were purchased at 7-Eleven stores.

Two Chicago-area stores sold Powerball tickets that matched five numbers in Saturday's May 7 drawing, making each buyer the lucky holder of a million-dollar ticket.
One winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at a Lombard 7-Eleven, 400 West 22nd St. The other was bought at a Chicago 7-Eleven, 1350 S. Halsted St. Each store will get $10,000 for selling a prize-winning ticket.
The tickets matched the first five numbers – 05 - 25 - 26 - 44 - 66. The Powerball number was 9.

Saturday’s $429.6 million jackpot was the seventh largest Powerball jackpot.
The winning ticket, sold in New Jersey, was also sold at a 7-Eleven. The jackpot winner, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, purchased the ticket at at a 7-Eleven at 750 Chambers Street in Trenton, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

More than 107,000 Illinois Lottery players won prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000 in this Powerball drawing. Powerball drawings take place Wednesday and Saturday nights at 9:59 p.m. For more information, please visit illinoislottery.com.
