25-Year-Old Struck And Killed By CTA Train At Morse Stop

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was struck and killed by a CTA Red Line train at the Morse station on Chicago's North Side Tuesday morning.

Police said the man was hit at around 8:10 a.m. at the station in the 1400 block of West Morse Avenue. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Red Line trains were stopped between Wilson and Howard stations and Purple and Yellow Line trains were temporarily suspended as well, according to the Chicago Transit Authority.

Police have not released the man's identity yet or additional information on how he was hit.
