3 Chicago Women Killed in Milwaukee Wreck

MILWAUKEE — Three Chicago woman were killed in an early Sunday morning crash in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the women as Amy C. Taylor, 32, Ashley L. Sawatzke, 30, and Lindsey B. Cohen, 35. They accident was shortly after 2:30 a.m. according to the medical examiner’s office.

The Chicago Tribune reported the women “were killed when a vehicle ran a red light and slammed their Uber ride in Milwaukee.”

“The 41-year-old Uber driver was taken to a hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries,” the Tribune said.

Autopsies are being performed today, according to the medical examiner’s office.
