3-Year-Old Chicago Boy Dies After Falling From 18th Floor Window: CPD
The boy fell through a screened-in window and fell 15 stories and landed on the roof of a parking garage in the Uptown neighborhood.
CHICAGO — A 3-year-old boy died Tuesday after police said he fell from a screened-in window on the 18th floor of a Chicago apartment building, officials announced.
The boy, who was identified by the Chicago Fire Department as Chaise Binion, fell 15 stories from the window stories before hitting the roof of the apartment building’s parking garage on the third floor at around 6:40 p.m., officials said.
The apartment building is located in the 4500 block of North Clarendon Avenue in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. The boy was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, but died shortly after, police said.
