Abuser In The Morning? / Konkol Column / Lake View Gun Battle

It's Wednesday! Chicago was named America's "Best Big City" by Condé Nast's for the fifth year in a row.

Happy Wednesday to everybody ... except Chicago radio legend, Eric Ferguson.

Longtime WTMX-FM morning host will be off-the-air for at least a month after his former co-host accused him of being a "serial abuser of women" in a court filing. So far, three women have alleged lodged allegations of abuse and misconduct against Ferguson, including a former assistant producer who says she was coerced into an "unwelcome sexual relationship."

Find out what's happening in Chicagofor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Foxx was so miffed that she held a rare news conference Tuesday to denounce "political games" and "finger pointing" while ironically delivering a campaign-like sermon and blaming everybody but herself for the overwhelming public perception that she's soft on prosecuting shooters, murders and repeat gun offenders.
