Adam Sandler To Open 11-City Comedy Tour At Chicago's United Center
Sandler, the former Saturday Night Live star who has toured with his brand of comedy and music, will perform in Chicago on Feb. 5.

CHICAGO — Actor and comedian Adam Sandler will open an 11-city tour in February beginning with a show in Chicago that will include a surprise guest.
Sandler, the former Saturday Night Live star who has appeared in hit roles in several movies and has also toured as a musician, will open his 2023 Adam Sandler Live Tour at the United Center on Feb. 5, the venue announced on Wednesday.
In 2018, Sandler released his first comedy special in 20 years – “100% Fresh” – which appeared on Netflix.

The upcoming show is recommended for mature audiences of 16 years or older. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday to qualified pre-sale buyers and go on sale to the general public on Friday, according to the Ticketmaster website.
This week, Sandler was announced as the 2023 recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American humor and will be honored at the Kennedy Center For Performing Arts in March.

“Adam Sandler has entertained audiences for over three decades with his films, music, and his tenure as a fan favorite cast member on SNL,” Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter said in a statement. “Adam has created characters that have made us laugh, cry, and cry from laughing. I am looking forward to a laughter-filled evening like no other as we celebrate his career at a ceremony that is sure to bring together the best in comedy.”
