Advocate Christ Welcomes One of First Chicago Babies Born in 2017

Savannah Zwolen makes her debut at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 12:31 a.m. Jan. 1.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn welcomed one of the first babies to be born in the Chicago area in 2017.

Baby Savannah Zwolen made her debut into the world at 12:31 a.m. Jan. 1, measuring 17 inches long and weighing 4 pounds and 2 ounces. Savannah was born prematurely, so she’s spending some time in NICU, but otherwise she’s doing fine.

The baby is the daughter of Tomasz and Paulina Zwolen. Her big brother, Brian, 2, is waiting at home to play with her. The family lives near Chicago’s Midway Airport.
