Andersonville Restaurant Week Returns February 21 – March 2, 2025

Local Eateries Offer Ten Days of Unique Prix-Fixe Menus

The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC) is pleased to announce the return of Andersonville Restaurant Week, a ten-day celebration of the neighborhood’s diverse and dynamic dining scene from February 21 – March 2, 2025, with local eateries offering a variety of unique prix fixe menus. Restaurant Week is not a ticketed event and reservations, where accepted, are welcome and encouraged. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and carry out options are available. This year’s menu highlights include:

Anteprima | 5316 N. Clark St. | $45 pp menu featuring starter choice of Beet Salad with arugula gorgonzola, pickled red onion, toasted walnuts, vinaigrette, Chicken Meatballs with perpernota, tomatoes, onions olives, capers and pecorino or Griddled Polenta with slow cooked greens and tomato; entrée choice of Gnocci with mushroom ragu and parmigiano, Chianti Braised Beef with parmigiano, whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts or Seared Salmon with farro, spinach, leeks, sundried tomato and aged balsamic; and dessert choice of Lemon Panna Cotta, Chocolate Hazelnut Tart or Tiramisu.

Bar Roma | 5101 N. Clark St. | $45 pp menu featuring Primi: Insalata Mare, chilled shrimp, calamari, scallops, octopus, lemon vinaigrette; Secondi: Wild mushroom suppli, frisée, cacio e pepe crema; Pasta: Hand rolled pappardelle, braised oxtail ragu; and Dolci: Tiramisu, seasonal fresh fruit garnish.

Big Jones | 5347 N. Clark St. | Brunch menu: $27 pp menu featuring Brunch Welcome Platter (pimiento cheese, sorghum butter, and an assortment of pickles with hot cornbread muffins; entrée choice of Fried Chicken (served with reezy-peezy, choose light or dark meat), Roasted Four-Star Mushrooms (in buttery wine sauce with creamy grits) or Grillades & Grits (Fischer Farms round steak cutlets braised in wine with Creole tomatoes, creamy grits, pepper relish) and dessert of Beignets (Creole donuts buried in powdered sugar, with chocolate dipping sauce) and Gateaux de Sirop (Cajun-style cane syrup cake with black walnut streusel topping and whipped cream).

Lunch menu: $27 pp menu featuring starters of Blackened Cauliflower (charred in a spicy rub, served with wild black walnut romesco sauce and pea greens) and Cajun Boudin Balls (homemade Fischer Farms pork and Cahokia Farm rice sausage croquettes served with cayenne mayonnaise and piccalilli); entrée choice of Fried Chicken (served with reezy-peezy, choose light or dark meat), Roasted Four Star Mushrooms (in buttery wine sauce with creamy grits) or Shrimp Poor Boy (home-baked French bread stuffed with crispy fried wild Texas Gulf shrimp and spicy remoulade, fully dressed); and dessert of Bourbon Bread Pudding (warmly-spiced and spiked with bourbon and orange peel, served with homemade apple butter, pecan crumble and salted sorghum ice cream) and Chocolate Delight (TCHO fair trade chocolate pudding layered with cream cheese fluff in oatmeal pecan shortbread).

Dinner menu: $39 pp menu featuring starter of Butterbean Bisque (baby lima beans simmered until creamy, crumbled cornbread, pickled okra, scallions), Crawfish Boudin (crispy crawfish and rice sausage croquettes served with cayenne mayonnaise and green tomato relish) or Gumbo Ya-Ya (Cajun-style, with a dark, smoky roux, chicken, andouille, served with potato salad); entrée choice of Turkey Pie (Ferndale Market turkey smothered in wine sauce and baked in buttery pastry, served with herb salad in tarragon vinaigrette), Fried Chicken (served with reezy-peezy, choose light or dark meat), Shrimp & Crawfish Étouffée a la Breaux Bridge (Key West pink shrimp and Louisiana crawfish tails smothered in wine and butter with onions and spices, steamed Cahokia rice) or Four Star Mushroom Dumplings (Chicago-grown mushrooms simmered in a buttery sauce with herbs, cauliflower-creamed blue barley) and dessert choice of Chocolate Yummy (pecan shortbread crust filled with chocolate pudding, Tahitian vanilla cream cheese, whipped coffee cream), Calas (Creole sourdough rice fritters nestled in vanilla bean pudding, with candied peanuts, chocolate and caramel sauces) or Rum Bread Pudding (served warm with butterscotch pudding, homemade apple butter, toasted oat streusel, salted sorghum ice cream).

Fiya | 5419 N. Clark St. | $55 pp menu featuring Salatim (labneh & za’atar, Moroccan carrots, hummus, baba ganoush, harissa, garlic tahina, pita); Salad (house greens, watermelon radish, jalapeño, pickled red onion, dates, ricotta salata, croutons, fig vinaigrette); Khachapuri (Georgian bread & cheese boat filled with shakshuka, soft egg); entrée choice of Moroccan Salmon (in zesty tomato-red pepper sauce) or Chicken (half chicken, confit & roast, red zhug, preserved lemon yogurt); Mashed Potatoes; Focaccia; and dessert choice of Pavlova (meringue, praline, passion fruit purée, mint-cardamom crème anglaise) or Cheesecake (fire-roast Oman-style with orange blossom, honey, pistachio). Add five-course wine flight for additional $39 per person.

Hangry Joe's Edgewater | 5357 N. Broadway Ave. | $18 pp menus. Option one: Mega Chicken Sando, waffle fries and shake or bubble tea (variety of flavors). Option two: 6-piece chicken wings, mac-cheese and shake or bubble tea.

Kopi Cafe | 5317 N. Clark St. | $25 pp menu featuring entrée choice of Roasted Red Pepper Focaccia Sandwich or Salmon Davis Jr. (smoked salmon variation of a Reuben) and dessert choice of Carrot Cake or Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart.

Lady Gregory's | 5260 N. Clark St. | $30 menu featuring starter choice of Tossed Field Green Salad or Cup of Soup of the Day; entrée choice of Chicken Pot Pie, Fish & Chips or Curried Veggie Pot Pie; Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert.

Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar | 5553 N.
