The Carol Stream woman is accused of putting “one inch” of nail polish remover into her 17-month-old stepdaughter’s bottle over the weekend. The baby spit out the tainted milk. “The allegations against this defendant are extremely disturbing,” said the DuPage County prosecutor.

2-Time Loser: Drew Peterson Guilty Again
Video: Less than four years after he was found guilty of killing one of his wives, disgraced former cop Drew Peterson was convicted of plotting the murder of the prosecutor who put him away in the first place. After a weeklong trial, the jury needed just an hour to find him guilty. Peterson, 62, sat motionless with his chin in his left hand when the verdict was handed down.

The boy's sister drowned on Memorial Day. Wilmington Deputy Fire Chief Tom Friddle said if the boy is not found today, the likelihood of finding him will increase as days go by.
