Badmouthing Marines, Threat to 'Shoot You in the Face' Led to Councilman's Bloody Nose
Joliet Councilman Larry Hug called a man a “spic,” ripped the Marines and made fun of Channahon’s last two mayors, a witness told Patch. That got him a good slap in the face. A local businessman told the councilman calling police was a bad idea. “Patch (will) get a hold of it.” He said Hug told him, “Any publicity is good publicity.”
