Body Of A Woman In Her 30s Recovered From Lake Near Navy Pier
Police said the Chicago marine unit responded to the call of a body in the water a little after 6 a.m. Friday.

CHICAGO — A woman's body was recovered from Lake Michigan on Friday morning, police said.
The Chicago police marine unit were dispatched to the area near Navy Pier at about 6:20 a.m. after a call of a body in the water, according to a statement from Chicago police. A spokesperson for the Chicago Fire Department said CFD also sent crews to the scene, but gave the lead to the marine unit after it was determined the 30-something-year-old woman was dead, not unconscious.
The woman's name has not been released. Area 3 detectives are treating the incident as a death investigation.
