Car Fire Breaks Out In Hancock Building Garage
Smoke spread through the building's 7th and 8th floors Sunday, but no injuries were reported, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

CHICAGO, IL — A car fire broke out in the parking garage of the John Hancock Center on Sunday morning, according to the Chicago Fire Department. No serious injuries have been reported stemming from the incident, and 10 people were treated at the scene, fire department officials say.
Firefighters responded to a call of a fire at around 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, on the building's seventh-floor garage in the 100 block of East Delaware Place, the department said. The fire was extinguished about an hour later.
Smoke spread throughout the building's seventh and eighth floors and the stairwells, causing some people inside to panic, according to NBC 5 Chicago. The building, however, did not need to be evacuated, the report added.
