Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Lightfoot said she started to experience cold-like symptoms Tuesday. She said she feels "fine" and will work from home in isolation.

CHICAGO — Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Tuesday she tested positive for the coronavirus.
"Earlier today, I tested positive for COVID-19," the mayor tweeted. "I am experiencing cold-like symptoms but otherwise feel fine which I credit to being vaccinated and boosted. I will continue to work from home while following the CDC guidelines for isolation."

Lightfoot said her positive test is an "urgent reminder for folks to get vaccinated and boosted as it's the only way to beat this pandemic."
