Chicago Public Schools Closed Wednesday: CPS CEO
All after school activities for Jan. 29 are also canceled, CEO Dr. Jackson said.
CHICAGO, IL — Chicago Public Schools announced Monday night that all after school activities are canceled for Tuesday, Jan. 29, in addition to all CPS schools being closed on Wednesday, Jan. 30. This is according to CPS CEO Dr. Janice Jackson.
"The safety of our students is the district’s highest priority," Jackson wrote on Twitter Monday night.
Jackson also mentioned warming centers throughout the city are being offered by Chicago Park District.
