Cop Who Shot Husband, Also Cop, Charged With Manslaughter: Police
Jacqueline Villasenor was charged with involuntary manslaughter after police said she fatally shot her husband during a struggle over a gun.

CHICAGO — A Chicago police officer has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after officials said she shot her husband, also an officer, during a struggle over a gun.
Police said Jacqueline Villasenor, 39, was fighting with her husband in their home on the 8500 block of West Winona Street Tuesday night when one them took out a gun. The couple began fighting over the firearm, police said in a statement.
Her husband, whose name has not been released, was shot once and taken to Lutheran General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Villasenor was charged with one felony count of involuntary manslaughter and is scheduled to appear in bond court Friday.
