1. Police body camera video footage was released Wednesday of the shooting death of Reginald Clay Jr. in the 3800 block of West Flournoy Street. The Chicago Civilian Office of Police Accountability released the video of the April 15 shooting “as part of the city’s police transparency efforts,” ABC reports. (ABC)

2. Two stabbings were reported on CTA trains this week, WGN reports. A man is in critical condition after being stabbed Tuesday on a Red Line train in the first block of West 95th Street. Another stabbing occurred Wednesday at an Orange Line stop in the 4900 block of South Western Avenue. He was reported in stable condition. (WGN)

3. The mayor’s office is looking to use the South Shore High School building as a shelter for migrants who are bussed to Chicago, Block Club reports. An informational meeting on the plan will be held tonight as Chicagoans are stepping up to help migrants in need with food, supplies and clothing. (Chalkbeat)

4. Fred Waller will serve as interim chief of the Chicago Police Department beginning May 15, replacing Eric Carter on a temporary basis. "If there's one thing that could bring me out of retirement, it was the opportunity to lead and return to the place that I've given so much of my life to," he said Wednesday. (Patch)
