Dense Fog Advisory in Effect Until 10 A.M.
Use caution while driving this morning. Visibility greatly reduced.
A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday for Lake, Kane, DuPage, Cook, Kendall, Grundy, Will and Kankakee counties. Visibilities will be reduced to less than one-quarter of a mile, according to the National Weather Service.
Leave plenty of distance ahead of you on the roadway if you're driving this morning and use your headlights. The dense fog rolled into the region overnight.

Today will be mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 70s inland; lower 60s near the lake. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50s. East winds 5 to 10 mph in the evening shifting to the south after midnight. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
