Ex-Chicago High School Guard Pleads Guilty Over Sex With Student
The 21-year-old man was sentenced to court supervision Thursday as part of his deal with prosecutors.

CHICAGO, IL — A 21-year-old ex-security guard at a Chicago high school admitted to a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student as part of a plea deal, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Ellis Davis pleaded guilty to misdemeanor count of battery and sentenced to 18 months of court supervision, the report added.
He also was ordered to complete a sex offender evaluation and 120 hours of the Sheriff’s Office’s Work Alternative Program, the report stated. Originally, Davis, who also worked as an assistant football coach, was charged with felony criminal sexual assault, the report added.
According to prosecutors, Davis began a sexual relationship with a Benito Juarez High School student in October, the report stated. The girl's mother eventually uncovered the relationship, and Davis was arrested in January, the report added.

Chicago Public Schools suspended Davis without pay after charges were filed, the report stated. The school system fired him following the guilty plea, the report added.
